Admissions Number
Dr Challoner's High School has a Published Admission Number of 180 places for Year 7, with around 1,350 pupils on roll across the school. Up to 12 of these places are made available to girls in catchment who are in receipt of Pupil Premium (or looked-after) and achieve a standardised score of at least 115. The school is consistently oversubscribed, so a qualifying STT score combined with the school's admissions criteria determines who is offered a place.
Catchment Area
Dr Challoner's High School operates a catchment area covering Amersham, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont Common, Chesham, Gerrards Cross, Prestwood, and Great Missenden. Entry is based first on a qualifying STT score, where qualifying applicants exceed places; priority follows looked-after children, Pupil Premium in catchment, daughters of staff, catchment residence, siblings, and then straight-line distance from the school. Applicants wishing to be considered under catchment rules must complete the school's Supplementary Information Form (SIF).
