Admissions Number
Royal Latin School has a Published Admission Number of 174 places for Year 7, with over 1,300 pupils on roll across the school. The school is regularly oversubscribed, so a qualifying STT score combined with the Royal Latin School admissions criteria determines who is offered a place. Children who narrowly miss the qualifying score due to exceptional circumstances may apply for a Selection Review.
Catchment Area
The Royal Latin School catchment area covers North Buckinghamshire, including Buckingham, Steeple Claydon, Marsh Gibbon and Winslow. Entry is based first on a qualifying STT score; where qualifying applicants exceed places, priority follows looked-after children, children living in the catchment area, and then those living outside it, with distance from the school used as a tie-breaker. Applicants may need to complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) to confirm residency.
