Admissions Number
Wilmington Grammar School for Boys has a Published Admission Number of 180 places for Year 7. Up to 15 governor places are awarded to boys who perform exceptionally well in the Kent Test (excluding maths) and live within five miles of the school. The school is regularly oversubscribed, so a qualifying Kent Test score combined with the Wilmington Grammar School for Boys admissions criteria determines who is offered a place.
Catchment Area
The Wilmington Grammar School for Boys catchment area gives priority to boys living within 1.5 miles of the school and to those living in the named priority parishes around Dartford. Entry is based first on a qualifying Kent Test score; where qualifying applicants exceed places, priority follows looked-after children, siblings at either Wilmington school, children of staff, governor places, Pupil Premium pupils within three miles, and then proximity to the school.
