11 Plus Tuition for Enniskillen Royal Grammar School

Enniskillen Royal Grammar School opened in 2016 through the amalgamation of Portora Royal School, founded by royal charter in 1608, and the Enniskillen Collegiate Grammar School, founded in 1916, giving it a heritage of over four centuries. It is a co-educational, non-denominational voluntary grammar school in County Fermanagh.

Admission to Year 8 is based on the SEAG Entrance Assessment, with the school then applying its own published admissions criteria to the results. Parents apply through the Education Authority post-primary transfer process, naming the school.

Enniskillen Royal Grammar School uses the SEAG Entrance Assessment, the single transfer test used across Northern Ireland. It consists of two papers covering English and Maths, sat on Saturday, 14th November 2026 (Paper 1) and Saturday, 21st November 2026 (Paper 2).

Enniskillen Royal Grammar School does not use a rigid distance-only catchment, but its admissions criteria consider siblings, family connection and proximity alongside SEAG performance. As the main grammar school in the area, it draws from Enniskillen and across County Fermanagh.

For 2027 entry, SEAG registration opens at 8am on Monday, 18th May 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on Friday, 18th September 2026. The two papers are sat on Saturday, 14th November 2026 and Saturday, 21st November 2026, with results on Saturday, 23rd January 2027.
